We just got back from a really long week of traveling with Ben for interviews. We wanted to go with him for his Cleveland interview so we could see Casey and fam, but since Ben had 9 interviews in 10 days we had to go to a few more places along the way. It was A LOT of driving, but the kids did really well and we had a ton of fun staying in hotels and playing all day! We were able to see a little bit of Kansas City, Peoria Illinois, Lexington Kentucky, and of course Cleveland.
Ben flew to Denver in the middle of this week long trip so the kids and I made the trek by ourselves from Kentucky to Ohio. We stopped in Akron Saturday to see our good friends the Strombergs! Cole was so excited to see Rykker he decided we should move to Ohio :)
After our day in Akron we spent four days in Cleveland hanging out with Casey, Lindsey, Carly, and Holland. The kids had a ton of fun playing and we ventured out to do a few fun things like ride the train at the mall, go shopping, and see the sights downtown. Of course I forgot my camera every time we left the house though :( I did get a few picks of Cole after his favorite outing though:
Casey is the Scout Master in their ward and he invited us to their Court of Honor. Cole was so excited to get to go to a real scout event! He was so attentive the whole time and paid close attention to what the scouts were doing so he knows what to do when he is a scout :) It was pretty cute. He felt pretty cool when Uncle Casey let him wear his scout shirt!
We had a blast hanging out with the Cleveland Greens! Thanks to Casey, Lindsey, Carly and Holland for putting up with us and showing us an awesome time!!
