We spent Christmas Eve with the Coombs family this year!
We had the traditional delicious prime rib dinner followed by the nativity production put on by the grandchildren. Ellie was Mary this year and Cole was a Wiseman. You can tell how excited the kids were :)
We spent the rest of the evening singing Christmas songs and letting the kids share their musical talents at the talent show. Ellie sang Feliz Navidad while Cole shook the maracas :)
Last, but not least, the kids opened cousin gifts. Dax and Ellie were pretty excited, but Cole was less than thrilled with his. Ben and Cole had a nice little talk about why we give presents at Christmas and Cole was a lot more gracious after that. Our kids are lucky to have a such a good Daddy!
We had a nice evening with family remembering the birth of our Savior. I'm so grateful for this time of year and the opportunity to get my priorities back in line and remember what is truly important.
Well, the kids are in bed and now it's time for Santa to get busy and fill the stockings :)
