March Mayhem

The Spring months always seem to fly by as the world thaws and we become active again ;) Here's a quick rundown on what has happened the month of March:

Daddy and Brynlee got in some more quality naps...the rest of us got in quality baby time! Brynlee really loves her siblings, and they all adore her!! They can just cuddle and play for hours with no other source of entertainment. They think everything she does is hilarious, and she loves to make them smile and giggle. I hope they always stay close and have a loving relationship!

The warmer weather has led us outside to play more, which means lots of baths (what's cuter than a baby in a hooded towel pic?!) and a few unusual naps (like when Dax falls asleep as he's hiding behind the pillows in play, haha)

Warm weather also means lots of popsicles!! Baby B got to try her first popsicle the other day :)

Spring cleaning this year uncovered a lost love note from Cole's little girlfriend...just kidding Cole ;) Cole insists he doesn't like Addie Pettit, but she is sure fond of him and not afraid to let him know it. Hopefully one day we can show this at their wedding ;)
Here's a little proof of the sunshine and playing outside. Even B gets in on the sun time/play time...until she falls asleep :) I love to watch my kids play together, even it's something as simple as blowing bubbles. Why are bubbles so fun? Just goes to show you that's it the simple things that bring the most joy!

Cole's pack also had their Raingutter Regatta this month. Cole's boat wasn't the fastest, probably because mom helped him instead of dad ;), but he still had fun making and racing it!

Today Dax got to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt with our church playgroup! It was a small and simple one at the Heslop's house. These are my favorite because there's no competition and everyone leaves happy :) I love our cute little friends!

Now I get to go get ready for our big trip. We finally get to go on a real Spring Break vacation!! Springtime is the best!

The Gold at the End of the Ranbow

Happy Leprechaun Day!! Once again, a holiday that has no significance to me, but I'll use it as an excuse to do something fun ;) I somehow managed to make rainbow waffles with gold at the end (eggs) and a cloud at the beginning (bananas). Not the best holiday meal, but pretty creative for me! I'm working really hard on being a fun mom :)
