Airplanes

One of the highlights of our trip was all the airplanes we got to ride! Cole was stoked that we got to go on four different airplanes :)

The flights actually went really well and we had a lot of fun...until it was time to get off the last one. Unfortunately, all of us fell asleep before the plane took off and I was the only one that woke up, so the kids missed the entire last flight. Cole was devastated and refused to get off the airplane when we told him it was time to go! By the time we got Cole and Ellie crying and kicking off the plane the gates were already closed. It wasn't a very fun way to end our awesome trip :( Hopefully Cole only remembers the good memories!

Grand Coombs Staycation

Ben's parents took us all on a mini vacation to Salt Lake. We stayed at the Grand America Hotel! It was beautiful and we had a lot of fun as a family.

First thing after we checked in we went swimming. The pool was really cold so we spent most of our time in the hot tub...even the kiddos!

After our swim we got all cleaned up for a night on the town-riding Trax to The Gateway and eating at Tucanos. Ellie didn't want to be by Dax at first because he peed in the tub and Dax couldn't get enough of his reflection in the faucet :)

The next morning we walked around the beautiful hotel trying to find a good place for family pics.

  

The kids were less than thrilled about pictures, but we did manage a few good ones :) 

After checking out we went to the Discovery Gateway and had a blast!!

There were so many fun things to explore and pretend to be! It was a really fun adventure for the kids. We learned that Cole could be a helicopter pilot already and that Ellie has stage fright :)

Thanks for the fun staycation Grandma and Grandpa Coombs!

We decided to end our fun filled day with a trip to see Grandma Wini. The kids had fun there, especially Ellie who wasn't shy and climbed all over the walker, asked for a snack and asked Grandma why her feet were so fat :) I'm glad we went to see her because who knows how much longer she will be around. 

We have had a great week in Utah with all of our family! Thanks for the fun everyone!!

Get Air

Natalie and fam were able to come up North and my whole entire family were together for one night! 

We went to Get Air, the trampoline place. And it was a blast!

Ellie was a little nervous on the big trampolines so she spent a lot of time in Daddy's and Mommy's arms

Cole wasn't afraid in the least and took off bouncing!

Even the adults got into it...until they realized how old they were :)

Dax got to hang out with the few non jumpers who were afraid they would pee their pants :)

Ellie finally warmed up and didn't want to leave when it was time to go 

Cole went non stop and I had to bounce after him for awhile before I finally caught him and got him to leave :)

We had to leave to go to Camden's blessing while everyone else ate dinner, but we made it back to the Green house just in time for the white elephants. It's a good thing too, because we made out big this year :) Ben stole the power ranger costume from my dad for Cole, and I got the classic tea set doll who looked like her legs were broken (which I gave to Tiana after she longingly said "Oh, she is beautiful!" ) Unfortunately neither of us ended up with the extra large size underwear purse :)

It was so fun to have all the family together! We are really blessed to belong to such great families!!
