I love this time of year! The lights, the decorations, the music, the treats :) The best place to go around here is to Bass Pro Shop and their Christmas Village...it's our favorite place to visit to see Santa! There are so many fun things to do there!!
First off we rode the carousel!
Then the kids played in the boats while we waited to see Santa. I don't know why this is so fun, but they have awesome imaginations that make it a blast!
An elf let us sneak in early and see Santa without waiting in line! This time the kids were ready and knew just what to do and say :)
After Santa we made ornaments and colored pictures. (Sorry I forgot to take pictures!) Then we found the shotguns and then the duck shoot where the kids used bows and arrows. Cole, our master archer, shot a duck down with his bow!
We also found remote control trains and trucks! The kids all took a turn driving the train. Then we moved onto the truck, and Cole chased Dax around with it :) The kids had fun driving, with a little bit of help from Daddy!
We left Christmas village and wandered around the store a little. We saw the HUGE fishtank in the back, a tree house for the kids to play in, and a shooting game for Daddy! We all tried the game, but Daddy was like a little kid on Christmas :)
When we got home we made a cute little gingerbread house! Dax started out helping, but when I told him the candy was for decorating, not eating, he lost interest and found the IPad :) He is addicted to that thing!!
We had such a fun day!! It really is the most wonderful time of the year!!
