Santa!!

We had our first Santa sighting today!!

Central Primary School had a book fair that the kids wanted to go to. So we bought a book and then went in the gym and who was there but Santa and his elves! 

We got in line to see him and Dax pointed to him and said "I go see him" while shaking his head no :) I said "Don't you want to tell Santa what you want for Christmas?" and he said "Nope!" so I said "Don't you want Santa to bring you something?" to which  he replied "Nope!" I laughed and though oh well. When it was our turn Dax surprised me and followed Cole right up to Santa and climbed on his lap too! When Santa asked what he wanted Dax said "treats" to which Santa responded "Trains? Do you like Thomas the train?" and Dax said "Oh, yeah!" Thanks Santa! :)

Elise was a little nervous of Santa as well, but she was brave and climbed on his lap and told him what she wanted for Christmas. Cole wasn't scared at all, only excited! But he did get a little flustered when Santa asked what else he wanted besides the airplane Cole asked for. I always tell the kids they only get one present so he only had one in mind and Santa took him off guard with that question. He thought of something pretty quickly...just not what he really wanted :)

It was a fun Santa sighting! Hope to see him again soon!
