Last Minute Visit

One of our friends was going to Utah for a week, so the kids and I hitched a ride. It should have been a crazy drive with 5 kids 5 yrs old and under, but it was a blast! We had a few rough patches with Cole being a tease and Nelson and Anna throwing up at different times, but all in all it was a fun drive.

The best part of the drive :)

We stayed at my sister Mindy's house the first night, which also happened to be her birthday (and my anniversary). We had a lot of fun playing. Our kids love each other and they have the best toys! Cole also had his first big fall of the trip and ended up with a scraped forehead and knee. The second big fall happened two days later at a park where he scraped up his other knee, elbow and hand. This trip was pretty rough on Cole!

Brittyn and Ellie on the four wheeler
This one speaks for itself :)

Thursday and Friday we stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Coombs. They have lots of fun trains and planes that Cole was so excited to see. Both Cole and Elise were in heaven!

The next few days were full of General Conference, baseball games, and playing with cousins. We finally got to see GG and Grandpa Green Monday and Tuesday. They treated us to a visit at the Ogden Dinosaur Museum. It took Cole a minute to warm up to the noises, but soon he was having a blast and didn't want to ever leave.

Cole, Elise and Emersyn with the only dinos that Cole wasn't afraid of :)

Cole's favorite was the pink dinosaur that didn't look real
It rained most of the time...but the rain didn't stop the kids from playing!

Cole likes to pretend he is a dinosaur, and he is very good at it :)

We had a great last minute quick trip to Utah. It was fun to see all of our family and play, play, play! Thanks for letting us come with you Karen, Grace, Anna and Nelson!

Looks like fun! I swear all kids are scared to death of the Dinosaur Park. My kids screamed bloody murder there. Glad you survived the long car ride!
