9 Years and Counting

9 Years ago I married the most handsome, sweet, smart and amazing guy! This awesome guy gave me the 3 best kids in the world!

And tonight, to celebrate our anniversay, the best man in the world (also known as Ben) took us all to the Pizza Peel in Lacon for a yummy dinner and fabulous entertainment. They have a funny magician that the kids absolutely love! They are enthralled as he makes pennies and balls appear out of nowhere and little chains turn into animals.

It was a fun night to celebrate the amazing family that we started 9 years ago. I am one lucky lady that I get these guys for eternity!!

The Princess is 5!!

 My beautiful girl is 5 years old today!! How did that happen?! 

 This goof ball got to celebrate at school the day before. She was pretty excited for her awesome crown :)

 For the royal princess birthday we had sprinkle pancakes with LOTS of whip cream!! Yum!

Then a little balloon party with the brothers before Cole had to go to school:

 Ellie just wanted a playdate with some friends for her birthday so Hailey, Austin and Hazel came over to play and have a cupcake:

 Right after the playdate we picked up Cole and had lunch at McDonald's (no pics, it was way too crowded because her birthday happened to land on the High School's Homecoming day, which is a BIG deal in Washington!)

Elise was so excited that we got to walk in the Homecoming Parade with the cub scouts! I was happy my kids wanted to throw candy instead of collect it. It was fun, but it wore Dax right out :)

Ellie was SO patient and waited all day to open her presents so Daddy would home to see. As usual, the little princess was spoiled :)

 Her favorite presents were the Elsa dress (from Frozen) and the karaoke machine with Disney Princess and Frozen songs. The kids didn't know what karaoke was at first, but they picked up on it fast and had a blast!!

 After the whole Frozen CD Dax had had enough :)

 Ellie wanted a bright pink cake with flowers on it. She's pretty easy to please :) 

Ellie's last request for her birthday was to go to the high school Homecoming football game. She may have been brainwashed by her Daddy and big brother :) So we walked over to the football stadium to watch the Washington Panthers crush the Rockets!! (No pics again. It was so crowded that there was barely standing room. Football, especially at Homecoming, is a big deal when you live in a small town!)

Happy birthday to my sweet, sassy, funny, witty, cuddly, generous, kind, amazing, beautiful little girl!! Love you to the moon and back!!

Tiny Dancer

My little dancer is officially a bunhead :)

 Elise started her very first dance class at Kim's Academy of Dance and she loves it!!

In fact, we all love going to dance class every Wednesday and watching this sweet little girl!

Preschool!

My baby girl started her last year of preschool today! They tried to send her to the kindergarten line when we dropped Cole off at school his first day and it made me so grateful she still has one more year of preschool so I can have more time with my sassy sweetheart :)

 Dax grabbed a backpack and posed for me like it was his first day of school too :) After all, my baby can do anything the big kids do! 

Ellie was so excited to get to school that we got there 15 minutes early, so she practiced being queen of the school while we waited :)

 Before I knew it, my princess was heading through the double red doors to preschool with Mrs. Iverson. She had a blast on her first day with her friends, and Dax and I enjoyed some much needed quiet time/nap time. We all love preschool :)
