Aloha Maui!!

We flew into Maui midday and made our way to Kihei for the night. We didn't get many pics as we were soaking it all in and greeting the Coombs fam that we haven't seen in a year. Here are a few of our first time at the beach. We weren't dressed to play, but the kids had fun in the sand and discovered how high the waves can splash...Ellie and Cole got soaked :)

After the beach we had dinner as a family and then swam at the hotel. I thought the kids would be exhausted since Hawaii is five hours earlier than Illinois, but they were too excited to sleep and we swam pretty late. The kids should sleep good tonight!

"Leaving on a Jet Plane"

We are on our way to Maui!! We fly to Los Angeles tonight and then to Maui in the morning. It's a blast riding on the airplane!!

We had so much fun it wore the littles right out! For some reason the kids all like to sleep on Daddy :)

Hope tomorrow goes as well as today!

Scout Camp

We just spent an amazing week at Day Camp with the cub scouts of the W.D. Boyce Council! 

Ellie and Dax got to go and play with the other little siblings, while I got to help Cole and his scout friends learn some awesome things. 

Cole experienced so much:

Archery 

 Shooting BB guns

 Funs science like making Fossils and Salt Crystals

 Fishing

 And lots of fun activities like this Slip N Slide 

  

Camp was a blast!! Cole is so sad that it is over, but all that fun has wore me out and this old mother needs a break :) Can't wait for next year!!

Take Me Out To The Ballgame

Cole is playing coach pitch baseball for the first time this year. He loves baseball and has worked really hard. His baseball loving daddy spends every free minute he can working with Cole. He also asks me to practice all the time with him at home and he has improved A TON! At the beginning of the season he would usually strike out and never caught a ball. His last game he got on base all 3 times he was up to bat, and he can catch the ball when it's thrown it to him. His hard work has really paid off!! 

Cole loves his Chick Fil-A team and playing ball! And we all love watching him play :)

Say Cheese!

I was trying to make a cute Father's Day card for the grandpas and this is the response I got:

Go Chiefs!

This was the luckiest Friday the 13th ever! 

Our family got to go to a Peoria Chief's game with the scouts. We sat on the 7th row behind home plate! We had awesome seats for an awesome game :)

 

  There was even an awesome firework show after the game!!

The best part was that Cole and Ben got to camp on the field after the game!! Best campout ever! :)

Sprinkler Run!!

My kids have the coolest aunts! Aunt Mindy sent them a sprinkler, just for fun...and it is awesome!

Cole and the neighbor Quinn were the only two brave enough to run through it though. Ellie and Dax weren't digging the freezing cold spray :)

We all had a super fun day in the sun!! Thanks Aunt Mindy!
