May!

Life just keeps flying by! Here's another highlight reel for the month of May:

*Elise was excited to be matchy matchy with Brynlee and Dax decided it's more fun to be a baby and regularly puts himself in the baby swing :)

 *Elise had her kindergarten concert

 *I got a couple Mother's Day surprises: yummy and fancy chocolate covered strawberries from the awesome in-laws and beautiful flowers from my amazing hubby!

 *Brynlee still fights sleep. Notice the big crocodile tears from being in her bed :(

 *Brynlee tried out her first sucker. It was a sticky mess but she loved it!

 *Cole had his first, and last, sleepover for his best friend's birthday. 

 *Ellie learned some knew tricks on the playground

 *Brynlee found her reflection and showered herself with kisses ;*

 *B with a backpack. Super random and super adorable :)

 *We found Dax's long lost scooter that disappeared after he left it at the playground. It magically appeared in front of the school!

 *Baseball season has officially begun!!!

Grandma and Grandpa!

Grandma and Grandpa Coombs came to visit!! We have to share them with Mike's family when they come to visit now so we don't get as much time as we are used to, but we still got in lots of fun memories :)

We ventured over to the Peoria Playhouse, which is the local children's museum, for a fun filled day with the little kids!

 After the playhouse Grandma threw a stellar tea party :)

Cole decided he is too old for the children's museum and tea parties, so Grandpa took Ben and Cole to Chicago for a White Sox game!!!

We ventured over to the Shoppes at Grand Prairie to introduce Grandma and Grandpa to the lion...not because I wanted to shop ;)

We also explored the Botanical Gardens in Peoria. We had never been and this was a fun and beautiful adventure for us!

We ended their visit with a sunset drive along "The World's Most Beautiful Drive"

Chiefs Game!

We went to our first Peoria Chief's game of the year with the school tonight!

 The kids had a lot of fun being with all of their friends. Cole spent half the game playing catch with his friends (sorry bud I didn't get any pics), and Elise danced on top of the dugout and did a braid train with her girly friends :)

First baseball game in the books...summer can officially begin!!

Webelo Scout!!

Cole had his cub scout crossover ceremony tonight and became a Webelo!! He has worked hard this year and with the help of his awesome den leader, Mrs. Borlin, he passed off his Bear requirements and is now a Webelo. Way to go Cole bud, I'm so proud of you!!

Kindergarten Field Trip!

Dax, Brynlee and I got to join Elise and her kindergarten class for their field trip today! We met them at the Peoria zoo where we spent the morning. We ate lunch at the awesome wooden park across from the zoo and played for awhile. It was a fun day with Elise and her school buddies!!
