Easter Fun!

The Easter festivities have begun!!

We ventured out into the rain and the cold this morning to Centennial Park for the Waukee City Easter Egg Hunt:

Cole and Ellie took off in different directions and they were both super picky about what they would pick up, so we didn't make it out with much. Good thing they will get more tomorrow :) I guess the fun of the hunt is more important than what you get, right?!

We didn't want to wait in the hour long line to meet the Easter Bunny at the park, so we went to the Machine Shed restaurant to meet the Easter Bunny there...and for a delicious easter brunch!

The kids didn't get enough hunting in at the park, so they decided to make their own hunt when we got home:

They took turns being the "Easter Bunny" hiding the eggs and finding them. 

I love that these kiddos like each other and play so well together! We have a blast no matter what we are doing!!

Princess Party!

Addy had a party and invited Rapunzel, so of course all of the little princesses around came!

They played games, made crafts, ate snacks and had a ball!!

   

 We were all pretty excited to meet a real princess, let alone Rapunzel who is the favorite!!

Even my cute little princes snuck in to meet her :)

Spring?!

We had our first warm day of the year!

It was SO nice to feel the sun and not have to wear a coat!! So nice that we finally broke out sunglasses and sidewalk chalk and hung out outside all afternoon :) 

We are so ready for spring...I hope it lasts!

High Tea at the Cook's

Marlee invited all the girlies to a tea party at her house!

 These cute girls are Ellie's best friends (and their moms are mine), so this tea party was a blast!!

We are sure going to miss these cute friends when we leave for residency :(

My little Snow Bunny!

Tumble Tots

Ellie and Marlee took a little tumbling class at the Y. They would stretch, jump on the trampoline, twirl on the bar, and balance on the balance beam!

It was a fun little class for Ellie and her buddy Marlee!!
