Backyard Adventures

We went to Backyard Adventures with some friends today! There were a bunch of swingsets in one big room. The kids ran around and had a blast pretending to be at a park even though we are in the dead of winter!

Ellie had fun swinging, running, climbing, hanging, and sliding!

  

Dax tried out his first swing and loved it!

Then he fell asleep in Mommy's arms while we swung on a bigger swing :)

And Mommy had a nice relaxing day swinging with Dax and talking with friends while the kiddos ran around !! We love Iowa and all of our amazing friends!

I love my kiddos!!

Cole is always cracking jokes and being sweet, Ellie is always being silly and pulling funny faces, and Dax is always so sweet and smiley! And I love that they love each other so much! I am so blessed to have these three!!

Sleepy?

He wouldn't be my kid if he didn't fall asleep while he was jumping :)

This kid LOVES the jumper! He would jump all day if I let him. He usually falls asleep while he's jumping and will jump for a bit with his eyes closed. Cole and Ellie think it's pretty hilarious! We just can't get enough of this adorable little guy!!

Happy New Year!

I decided to start it off by giving Dax some real food. The pictures are really dark, but they tell the story. He was interested in it, until he got the cereal to his mouth :) He pulled the funniest bitter face and promptly spit it out. The kids couldn't stop laughing!

Maybe he's not ready for real food yet :)
