Happy Trick-or-Treating!

Happy Halloween!!

We went to Mindy's for her annual Halloween Party.

We enjoyed her yummy soup and breadsticks before getting all dressed up for trick-or-treating.

Elise was a bumblebee this year and Coleson was Spiderman!

We got ditched by the big kids, but we had fun with all of the little cousins

Emersyn and Carly got tired pretty quick, but Cole and Ellie could have gone all night! Ellie was so excited when she realized that everyone was giving free candy...She would stay at each door saying "trick-or-treat" until they stopped giving her candy :)

Cole and El even went up to some bigger kids who were sorting their candy on a driveway and said "trick-or-treat" to which the boys replied "You are NOT getting our candy!"

My favorite funny story of the night was when Cole walked in the house and saw Casey. He said "I like your cowboy costume" to Casey who just laughed and said thanks...Casey wasn't wearing a costume but he did have a plaid shirt on :)

I love my funny kids!! They make everything more enjoyable and exciting!

Coombs Halloween Party

Abbie threw a wicked awesome halloween party for the kids this year.

It was a fun party and all the kids had a blast...even Ellie who didn't get a nap and was ornery tired! Thanks Aunt Abbie!

I wasn't exaggerating when I said that Ellie loves this doll house :)

We Made It!

We finally made it to Utah! Ben took a test yesterday morning while I worked, and then we headed off on our long trek to Utah. We stayed over night in a hotel about half way and drove the rest of the way today. We got to Grandma and Grandpa Coombs' house where Ellie immediately found this magnificent doll house and Cole found the Aircraft Carrier that he loves. The kids were so wild and Cole ran around yelling "I'm so excited to be in Utah!!" I think we are going to have a fun 3 months here!

Moving Day

We moved from West Des Moines to Waukee today. We love our new smoke-free home with our playroom and attached two car garage!! And the kids LOVED our big moving truck :)

It was a stressful day for Ben and me, but the kids had a blast playing with friends and exploring our new home. Thanks to all our friends who helped!!

Another Day At The Zoo

We have been having such warm and sunny days this fall that we decided to visit the zoo one more time before it gets too cold and/or we leave for Utah. We had a blast as usual!

Today the favorites were feeding the goats for Cole and the playground for Elise. They also loved watching the huge tiger play with his ball and the penguins jumping into the water.

We love our zoo!!
