Kickball

Every day after school Cole goes to the playground to play kickball with his friend Jake...and they always let Dax play with them! Cole is the best big brother!! He and Jake are both so cute with Dax and make sure he gets a turn, scores and even gets them out occasionally. It makes my mommy heart proud and happy to see that I have such a great kid who loves his little brother! I'm so glad these boys have each other!

Broken Thumb

Dax had a big accident today that broke his thumb :(
I was in charge of Super Saturday at the church again this year so Ben took all of the kids to Cole's soccer game. Dax got his hand shut in the hinge side of Ben's car door and it broke his thumb.  Ben dropped off Cole and Elise at the church and they helped us old ladies craft ;) while Ben took Dax to the instacare. They splinted his thumb and Dax calls it his boat :) Dax has been such a tough kid!!

Homecoming!

Big day in Washington!!
I got to go to Elise and Cole's classes for Grandparents day in the morning. We couldn't talk any grandparents into coming to town for the day and Daddy couldn't get work off so the kids got Mommy. I was the only parent in either class and I had to take Brynlee, but at least they had someone.
In the afternoon we watched Cole walk in the Homecoming parade with the Cub Scouts! It was a fun day!!

Elise is 6!!

Elise turned 6 today!!
I can't believe our little princess is 6 already! She was so excited to open her presents we let her do it first thing. She was thrilled to get makeup, art projects, and babysitter barbie!

Ellie really wanted to share her birthday with her friends but I wasn't in any condition to throw a party, so we compromised and had a playdate at the park! Two of her good friends from school, Charlee and Abby, were able to come, as well as Hazel and the cousins. The kids played for awhile and then we had cupcakes and presents. Very low key but lots of fun!!

Afterwards GG and Grandpa took her shopping and got her the Shopkins ice cream truck she has had her eye on. Then we all went out for dinner to Jason's Deli where they have mac n cheese (her favorite) and self serve ice cream!

Elise was such a good sport about keeping her birthday simple this year because of the baby. She is such a good sport, when she's not having a melt down :) We sure love our sweet and sassy little princess!! She is our dancing queen, the life of the party, so loving and good at sharing, the best big sister, a great helper, has a big imagination, and a fun loving attitude! We love you Ellie bug!!
