Let it snow?

Remember our perfect fall day yesterday? Well, nothing lasts forever, or even a day in my case. We woke up today to snow. Yesterday we were jumping in leaves and today we are making snowballs!

The kids loved playing in the snow! Grandpa Coombs helped Cole find some huge boots and gloves and he was in snowball heaven. Ellie snuck outside without gloves, excited to play in the snow, but decided it's pretty cold to make snowballs without gloves :)

Even though I'm not excited for the snow, the kids were having fun and Ben decided it was an early birthday present...so let it snow!!

Leaves

Ben's parents have cute little Russian boys that live next door. They knocked on the door today and asked if they could "lake the leaves" for us. The kids and I decided to "help" them:

Cole had a blast jumping in the leaves. Ellie wouldn't jump in them, but she did have fun throwing them around. And Cole was so happy to have friends to play with! Thanks Taylor and James!!

Garbage Trucks Galore

We found a "garbage truck station" today and Cole was in heaven! We have never seen so many garbage trucks at one time. We had to stop and take a pic. This kid loves waste management!

Happy Trick-or-Treating!

Happy Halloween!!

We went to Mindy's for her annual Halloween Party.

We enjoyed her yummy soup and breadsticks before getting all dressed up for trick-or-treating.

Elise was a bumblebee this year and Coleson was Spiderman!

We got ditched by the big kids, but we had fun with all of the little cousins

Emersyn and Carly got tired pretty quick, but Cole and Ellie could have gone all night! Ellie was so excited when she realized that everyone was giving free candy...She would stay at each door saying "trick-or-treat" until they stopped giving her candy :)

Cole and El even went up to some bigger kids who were sorting their candy on a driveway and said "trick-or-treat" to which the boys replied "You are NOT getting our candy!"

My favorite funny story of the night was when Cole walked in the house and saw Casey. He said "I like your cowboy costume" to Casey who just laughed and said thanks...Casey wasn't wearing a costume but he did have a plaid shirt on :)

I love my funny kids!! They make everything more enjoyable and exciting!

Coombs Halloween Party

Abbie threw a wicked awesome halloween party for the kids this year.

It was a fun party and all the kids had a blast...even Ellie who didn't get a nap and was ornery tired! Thanks Aunt Abbie!

I wasn't exaggerating when I said that Ellie loves this doll house :)

We Made It!

We finally made it to Utah! Ben took a test yesterday morning while I worked, and then we headed off on our long trek to Utah. We stayed over night in a hotel about half way and drove the rest of the way today. We got to Grandma and Grandpa Coombs' house where Ellie immediately found this magnificent doll house and Cole found the Aircraft Carrier that he loves. The kids were so wild and Cole ran around yelling "I'm so excited to be in Utah!!" I think we are going to have a fun 3 months here!
