Costume Day!!

Elise was pretty excited to get her dance costumes for her recital today!

Fairy costume for the Peter Pan "Following the Leader" dance and a sparkly, fringe twisting fun, pink costume for her "Chantilly Lace" dance.

And thanks to preschool she has blue hands today :)

Dancing is so fun!!

Kindergarten, here she comes!

Elise had her last day of preschool today! We have loved Our Savior Preschool and Mrs. Iverson. It's sad to say goodbye, but Elise is so excited for kindergarten! Watch out Central Primary, here comes one fun loving, spunky, smart girl!!

Field Trip Friday

I got to go on a field trip with this awesome kid today! We rode the bus to Bloomington to go to the zoo and the children's museum. We had a fun group of kids to hang out with all day (Gretchen, Sophia, Josiah, Ryan and of course the coolest kid in the class, Cole :)

Ben had a random vacation day so Dax and Elise got to play with Daddy all day while Cole and I were on the field trip. Daddy even figured out how to do Ellie's hair :)

The perfect ending to a perfect day-that night was the stake Father Son Campout!

I had a sleepover on the couch with Elise and Dax while Cole and Ben roughed it in the tent :)

I love this cute family of mine and all the fun times we have together!!

Maypril Fools!

Remember how we are having another baby and we said it's a boy? Maypril fools...it's a girl!!

I went to the doctor for my anatomy sonogram and the only missing body part was boy parts because she's really a girl :) I guess we saw the umbilical cord the first ultrasound. Oops ;) We are so excited to be having another girl so we can even things out...except Cole who is in denial and still really wants another brother. I'm sure he will be head over heels for her as soon as he sees her though and will forget he ever wanted a brother. Now it's time to get shopping!!

May Days

We are loving our life that May has brought our way!

We also have been building marble towers, finding Book of Mormon displays at our local library, and just loving spending time together:

Police Patrol

Cole and I got to tour the Washington Police Station with his scout den tonight. It was pretty cool to see the inside and how things work. The boys all loved the part where they got to try on gear and then sit in the police cruiser and turn on the sirens. It was a pretty fun and educational night!

Tessa Time!

Mike and Sierra have been looking for houses this week which means we have gotten to play with Tessa a lot!! We all love this sweet little girl...but Ellie just can't get enough of her :) Can't wait for their family to move here!!

I also had to throw in a couple pics of my cute baby in the perfect weather we have been having...while he is still my baby :)
