St. Louis

We started out our Halloween festivities in St. Louis this weekend. Ben and Ryan had to work so Danna invited the kids and I out for her wards trunk or treat. We had a pilot, Elsa, a super hero, a butterfly, a knight and a cute baby dragon.

Saturday we went to the fun park by their house:
And Dax made a cute new friend :)

It's always a party when we get together. We sure love these friends of ours!

Pumpkin Carving

We had a blast carving pumpkins tonight! Ellie was a little grossed out, but the boys sure got into it.

Dax got ahold of a pumpkin and went to town :)

 Ellie picked a bat:

 Cole picked a spider:

It was a super fun FHE!! Hope they last until Halloween now :)

Brian Regan

I have the best husband in the world!! He scored us two awesome tickets to see Brian Regan for our anniversary. It's a few weeks after our anniversary but it was the perfect time to celebrate and an awesome date!

Little Momma

Ellie has been such a big help to me lately as I've been swamped with house stuff and getting ready for my big RS activity. She has been the little mommy around the house: reading to Dax, feeding Dax, getting Dax dressed, helping with dishes, dinner and laundry. She even asks to pull Dax in the wagon or push his stroller when we pick up Cole from school. The only thing she doesn't like to help with is picking up toys :) I don't know what I'll do when she starts kindergarten next year. I'm so grateful that she is such a sweet sister and so helpful!

I have the best kiddos in the world!!

Shovel vs Toe

Ben decided to take on a fight with a shovel and lost today. As he was trying to get rid of the ugly bushes in our backyard I distracted him and he stabbed his toe instead of the bush. Good thing we have a doctor as our home teacher :) Jeff Heslop came over and stitched it up for him.

Good as new, eh?
