June Rundown

Life is super crazy with 4 kids...I just can't keep up. So here's June in a few random pics ;)

Lots of family sleepovers!

B became a pickle lover, found interest in the guitar, learned to stand so she could raid our cupboard, and decided the dishwasher is her favorite toy :)

The Chamberlains came to visit!!!! We even got to keep Taya while the rest of the fam went to Chicago for Tim's meeting!

Cole has been killing it at baseball this year! And Ellie has been loving all all of the boys on his team ;) We are in trouble with this spunky girl!

And we still can't get enough of this baby girl!!!

Whew! Summers are busy! It's hard to keep up with these kiddos, but loads of fun along the way!!

Birthday Shenanigans

All I wanted for my birthday this year was to relax with my family and check a few more fun activities off our summer bucket list...and I got just what I wanted :)

We spent most of the day playing in the water and the sunshine, and enjoying the yummy pina colada cupcakes I made!

 We met our favorite Illinois peeps, the Pacheco's, for dinner at Five Guys and frozen yogurt at Cherry Berry!

 We finished out the night stargazing at the Northmoor Observatory in Peoria!

It was the perfect birthday!!

Good Pickings

We headed over to a local strawberry field today to pick our own berries! It was at the top of our summer bucket list and I think it will have to become a tradition!!

We got to ride a tractor out to where we picked, which the kids thought was pretty cool :) The kids were very selective about the strawberries they picked, searching for the most perfect ones. They would find a good one and say "Here's a beauty!" We ended up with a good haul of the most delicious strawberries I've ever had!! Who knew that work could be so much fun ;)

Good Neighbor Days with Good Friends!

We talked the Pacheco's into coming to Washington's Good Neighbor Days carnival with us tonight! We always have a blast with these guys and tonight was no exception :) 

Ellie, Evey, Ole and Dax had fun riding rides. Cole and Ezra were too cool for the rides and decided to go off and play games instead. Dave and Ben were searching for an ugly commemorative shirt and RicAnn and I were really just there for the fried food ;)
