Living it up this Summer!!

June has been a crazy busy and fun month!! We have really been enjoying our summer together!

We spent a lot of time playing at parks!

 We have enjoyed sleeping in some days (Dax looks just like Daddy when he sleeps with his boppy ;)

 We spent a hot afternoon at the Peoria Zoo!

 Ellie took her first tumbling class! She was a little nervous at first but ended up loving it and asking to do it again instead of dance!

 We went to A LOT of Lowe's Build and Grow days and made all of the Avengers and their vehicles!

 Ben and I even got a (free!!) little date night with the fun residents that Ben gets to work with at the Residency Graduation.

 Cole scared the dickens out of me when he climbed to the top of this huge tree!!

 We got a lot of cousin time in!

 Cole blew up his first balloon!!

 The kids went to their first Lego Club activity! Ellie made an underwater adventure and Cole made an airplane. (Cole had to leave for baseball so Dax got to hold Cole's airplane for the pic)

 We were big goofballs ;) and the kids were good sports to run all of my errands with me!

 We visited Daddy at work and found the fun temperature changing chairs that the kids decided to leave face prints on, haha ;)

 Elise let me experiment most days on her hair.

 Cole played A LOT of baseball!! He was even crazy enough to play in pouring rain! I stayed in the car ;)

We have been busy, busy, busy and loving our time together!!

The Crazy Coombs Take on Fon Du Lac Farm Park!

We got to go the farm park today with our cute cousins! We saw a lot of animals, fed some of them, and played lots!!

It's so fun to have family live by us!!

Scout Camp

Cole had scout camp this week...and we all got to go! (Well, except Daddy. He had to go to work of course) I got to spend all day with Cole and his scout buds while Ellie and Dax hung out with the little kids doing fun art projects and playing. 

Cole got to play a sports like kickball and human foosball,

 He rocked archery,

 and was a sharp shooter with the BB gun,

 they did relay races, a slip n slide, and tug of war,

 Cole caught his very first fish!!!

 And he learned a lot through many art and science projects!

Scout camp was a blast!! And now I'm ready for a nap ;)

Dancing Queen

My little princess had her first dance recital this weekend!!

Elise and I spent the whole weekend at the Peoria Civic Center for dress rehearsal and recital night. It was crazy but fun! El broke out in hives all over her face and body during the dress rehearsal so we drugged her up with benadryl and cortisone cream for recital night and she did great!!

 Her first dance was a ballet dance to "Following the Leader" from Peter Pan. Ellie did amazing and remembered all of her dance steps! She pushed the boy in front of her until she was right on que in her spot :) and she didn't act shy or timid at all. She was awesome!!

 Her second dance was a tap dance to "Chantilly Lace". Her cute, sassy personality really shown with this dance! She did was so amazing for her first dance recital!

Ben was the cutest dancer Daddy this weekend! I gave him and out of the recital weekend but he really wanted to go. He was so excited to see his little princess perform on stage! He even surprised her with a bouquet of flowers. She was so excited to see her Daddy and overjoyed about the flowers!!

This was a crazy fun weekend...and I'm exhausted! :) Being a Dance Mom is hard work, but so worth it to see my little girl so happy and to watch her shine on stage! Love my Ellie bug!!
